Although Pirate concrete was formed on May 5, 2005 Chip and Josh have over 40 combined years in the concrete business. Here are a few brief facts concerning our management team:
Chip, following graduations from Wilmington’s New Hanover High School, graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. For 18 years he was a high school educator, football coach, and physical education instructor. Following this, he returned to the Port City that had been his home since 1962.
Josh graduated from Hoggard High School then attended East Carolina University where he majored in construction management. He began working for his uncle in concrete at age 12, during summers and holidays. Currently Josh manages the commercial, and custom portion of the business.
